For me, that legacy belongs to my Mum, Barbara Crawford.

As a pioneering female jockey, Mum knew exactly what it took to face down a challenge. She understood the nerves, the adrenaline, and the exact moment you have to trust your training and just go for it.

Growing up, whenever I was heading into a tough ride, facing down a daunting jump, or feeling the weight of nerves setting in, she would always leave me with the exact same piece of advice: Get out there and "Ride it like you stole it" kiddo.

It wasn’t just a catchy phrase. It was her way of telling me to leave nothing behind. To ride with fierce, unapologetic passion, to back myself completely, and to trust the bond between me and my horse.

Mum is sadly no longer with us, but her spirit, her relentless drive, and those five exact words are woven into the very fabric of why Crawford Equestrian Jewellery exists.
